Serial Strawberrier

The strawberry never even had a chance. We were sitting on the floor eating our dinner and playing with Nathan, watching March Madness in progress, when all of a sudden... Nathan pivoted on his knees, spun completely around and lunged. In a moment the strawberry was off Mom's plate and it was all over; he had the strawberry and wasn't letting go. Seeing a disaster in the making, he was removed from the carpeted playing area and benched in his dinner seat until further review of the events were competed. Seeing how things couldn't get messier, he was allowed to continue his dominance of the strawberry until he was satisfied.

Too Many Cookies

So Nathan loves to eat, and will eat just about anything. However, one night he decided to eat dinner with the family, and he got a couple of baby teether cookies. He finished them both, but gave us all a few expressions that we couldn't help but laugh at.

Georgia on My Mind

So here we are in Georgia. It's 75 degrees outside on this gorgeous Sunday and we enjoyed dinner out on the patio. The birds are chirping, the sky is blue, and the grass is turning a shade of green. Nathan is finally sleeping after 3 hours of stimulating spiritual upliftment at church and a hearty lunch.

The good news from this past little while is that Seth and I are both working for money now that I've finished my internship and the hospital has hired me on till we leave. We are hoping to be back in Rexburg soon, which is weird to say. It's hard to imagine ever "wanting" to go back. The best part is we'll be close to our best friends again and be around a few other babies Nathans age. I think we miss that the most because it was always fun to watch how he interacted with others his age. Not to mention we enjoyed being with all of you guys who are going through exactly what we're going through with raising our first child.

We don't have a firm date in mind, but Seth would like to go to the Spring semester and get some more classes done and be one step closer to graduation. And I want to have one month of work in before we go to have a little money to fall back on, so we're going to find ourselves a happy medium. We'll let everyone know when the time gets a couple weeks closer.
